Free Phlebotomy Training in Connecticut

You have made a good choice if you have decided that you want to enroll in phlebotomy training.  This training usually lasts for just a few months.  You will have many job opportunities and can earn a good income in this field.  There are even ways to access free phlebotomy training in Michigan.

Search for phlebotomy training at local colleges and institutes of higher learning in your area.  Contact the financial aid department at any colleges of interest.  Ask a financial aid officer if the program for which you are applying would make you eligible to receive any type of financial aid.  Request the forms from the college if you can apply for financial aid.  Complete a FASFA for financial aid online.  Wait to find out if you are eligible to receive state and/or federal grants.  Hopefully, you will receive a large enough grant to cover the cost of tuition for the training program.  Consider applying for a student loan or work-study if you do not receive quite enough financial aid to cover the entire cost.  These programs will help you to be able to afford the training.

Contact the Department of Higher Education in Connecticut.  They should be able to let you know if there are any free programs available for prospective phlebotomists at any of the local colleges and universities.  They might also be able to point you in the direction of other programs in your community or within the state of Connecticut that could help you to obtain your phlebotomy Certification for free.

You might be eligible to receive help to pay to train for a new career if you are currently someone receiving public assistance benefits.  The same is true if you have unemployment benefits.  You can contact your local Public Assistance Office or Local Job Placement Office to help you determine if there are any programs for you.  You can even apply to the Job Corps for assistance if you are not over the age of 25 and meet all requirements.
